Minimizing connectors

Designs stitch out more efficiently when the connectors between objects are short. This reduces unnecessary travel stitches and trims.

Hatch Embroidery provides several tools and techniques to help you control and optimize these connections. You can manually adjust entry and exit points to position joins more efficiently. Or use automated features such as Closest Join to calculate optimal connections between objects.

Where needed, you can also force trims to eliminate connectors entirely. By combining these approaches, you can improve stitch flow, reduce machine movements, and produce cleaner, more efficient embroidery designs.
