Hatch Embroidery provides an explicit Stop function which allows you to pause the embroidery machine at any point in the stitching sequence without forcing a color change or trim.
This feature is ideal for workflows requiring manual intervention, such as appliqué placement, in-the-hoop (ITH) projects, quilting, or adding mixed media elements.
Explicit Stop functions can be applied across multiple objects. Simply select the objects and click Stop.
Alternatively, insert or clear Stop functions via the Context toolbar in Stitch Edit mode. Stops are placed at the current stitch cursor position.
Remove Stop functions by selecting the object or objects and clicking Clear Stop.
Stop functions are clearly visible in stitch view.
Stop functions are preserved when saving, exporting, and reopening designs, ensuring consistent behavior across supported machine formats.
The Stop function may or may not work with your machine or the machine format you use. Please refer to your machine requirements or limitations if this function does not work as specified.
