If you have CorelDRAW GEM pour Hatch Embroidery installed on your system, Hatch Embroidery provides another option for converting graphics to embroidery designs and vice versa. Individual objects or whole designs can be converted. Both vector graphics and bitmaps can be used. Use the Switch and Convert toolbar to switch between Embroidery Mode and Graphics Mode in the software. The Convert functions are also located on this toolbar. Behavior depends on operating mode.
1Scan or insert the artwork you want to use. Pour plus amples informations, voir Import artwork.
2In Graphics Mode, use the Convert Artwork to Embroidery tool to convert selected graphics – vector or bitmap – directly to embroidery.
3Selected objects or the entire design are displayed in Embroidery Mode. Here you can edit generated embroidery objects, recolor, resize, change stitch types, and so on.
4In Embroidery Mode, use the Convert Embroidery to Artwork tool to convert embroidery to vector artwork. This tool gives you the option of converting embroidery objects to vectors or to ‘virtual embroidery’.
Note: Virtual embroidery creates a TrueView bitmap image of your design in Graphics Mode. This can be saved to file for reference purposes or even printed on fabric.
Tip: In Mode graphiques, the Tag as Appliqué button allows you to tag selected vector objects for conversion to appliqué. This is available to customers have purchased CorelDRAW GEM pour Hatch Embroidery or already have a compatible version of Logiciel CorelDRAW.
