Hatch Embroidery allows you to insert preset buttonholes. You can specify their size and merge them into a design. Buttonholes are usually formed with satin column stitches bordering a slit that is slightly longer than the length of the button diameter, depending on the thickness of the button. The satin stitch border protects the slit from fraying. The buttonhole consists of a bead of satin stitches with a bar tack.
