The Click-to-Fill tool can be used to create tatami fill objects for an inserted artwork.
1After an artwork has been inserted, select the Click-to-Fill tool.
2If the artwork hasn’t been prepared yet, clicking anywhere on the artwork will open the Prepare Artwork for Embroidery dialog first.
3Adjust or accept the default settings and click OK to prepare the artwork for auto-digitizing.
4With prepared artwork, move the mouse pointer to highlight the desired area with a cross-grid and click to generate stitches, ignoring any holes within.
5Click on other areas to generate stitches as required.
6Press the Escape key to deactivate the tool.
Current properties are applied. Modify these as required before or after using the tools.
Use Color Matching Method to determine how threads/colors are to be assigned to resultant embroidery. You can:
Add them to the palette (the default),
Automatically choose closest matches from selected thread chart/s, or
Match image colors to the current palette.
It’s easy to click and inadvertently create multiple layers of stitching in areas. Check everything you do in the Sequence docker.
