Gradient fill settings

Both stitch angle and spacing values have a significant effect on gradient fill appearance.

Gradient fill angle

Use Edit Objects / Select > Reshape to reshape an object outline, edit stitch angles, or adjust entry and exit points.

Use the Reshape tool to adjust the angle of the gradient fill.

Use the Gradient Fill panel to adjust spacing values between maximum and minimum spacings.

Tip: Travel on Edges and Gradient Fill can also be combined with Florentine Effect to produce curved color blending.
