As a beginner, you will generally use designs that fit entirely within the available hoops for your particular machine. You will mostly use default settings both in Hatch Embroidery and on the machine. The hoop center becomes the reference point for all designs you do in this manner. This technique provides the basis for all other techniques you will use.
1Insert or open a design.
The hoop automatically centers around design extents, as it does on most machines.
Use the hoop template to help center the design within the hoop.
2Optionally, adjust design size or change the hoop to suit the design.
3Print a design worksheet. The worksheet can include the hoop position marker.
4Send the design to machine. The design is automatically centered on the machine.
5Fix the design worksheet to the fabric.
6Hoop the fabric. Align the printed hoop position marker with the hoop template centerlines.
7Start the machine. The needle will move to the hoop center.
8Stitch out the design.
