The Add Splitting Line tool lets you digitize one or more splitting guidelines in a multi-hooping layout to split objects that cannot fit within one hooping.
1Select the Multi-Hooping toolbox, add and move hoop positions as required to cover the design. Objects like SEASON and the border around it appear in black because they are unable to fit within a single hooping.
2Click the Add Splitting Line tool, move the mouse pointer to an overlapping area where you want to split the objects.
3Digitize a splitting guideline. Left-click for corner points, right-click for curve points.
4Press the Enter key to add the splitting guideline in pink. Objects like SEASON and the border around it appear in green because they are split and fit within two separate hoopings.
5You can continue digitizing more splitting guidelines if needed.
6Press the Backspace key while digitizing to remove the last reference point.
7Press the Escape key to deactivate the tool.
8You can check how the design is split in each hooping by clicking the Preview Hoopings tool.
9Press and hold a hooping in the Preview Hoopings docker will show the objects in that hooping only in design window.
Splitting lines must be placed within the overlapping area of two hoop positions.
Splitting lines must completely cross the part of the objects to be split.
