Freehand open shape

With the Freehand Open Shape tool, you draw objects directly on screen to create a hand-drawn appearance.

1Click-and-drag the mouse pointer to create a free-flowing line.

2Release the mouse button to finish.

Tips

Adjust the smoothing and guide settings on the Context: Freehand Settings toolbar.
Press and hold the Backspace key or press and hold the Shift key while dragging backwards to erase a portion of the line.
Press the Escape key while drawing to delete the line.
Press and hold the Alt key while digitizing/drawing the object on screen to temporarily deactivate the Auto Scroll feature.
The Freehand Open Shape tool can be operated with a WACOM pen.
