Use Digitize Appliqué to generate all the stitching you require for normal appliqué. Up to four layers of stitching can be generated. The digitizing method is the same as for normal closed shapes.
1Insert an image for use as a digitizing backdrop and click Digitize Appliqué. The Object Properties > Appliqué tab opens.
2Define up to four layers of stitching – placement line, cutting line, tack and cover stitch.
Tip: Use Style settings to specify whether to pre-cut your appliqué or trim it in place. See Appliqué styles for details.
3Digitize the appliqué boundary, marking reference points around the perimeter – left-click for corner points, right-click for curve points.
4If you make a mistake, press Backspace to delete the last reference point.
5Press Enter to close the shape.
